I started Circle City Data as a passion project. It gave me an opportunity to apply skills and technology that were new to me in a practical, real world setting. The more I built, the more I enjoyed building.

As a resident of Indianapolis since 2012 who is also interested in the mechanics of data, I noticed that although data about Indianapolis is out there, it’s spread out across the web and not so easy to interpret or work with. By releasing Chart Book, our flagship product, my hope is to minimize the friction in finding data about Indianapolis while also providing a path for others to explore original data sources on their own.

I have over a decade of experience building data platforms, specializing in data product management at large organizations.

I have a BS in Business Economics and Public Policy and an MBA from Indiana University.
